How to Partner with It's All About Kids
It’s All About Kids (IAK) is proud to announce we are able to partner with any elementary school in Tulsa County! In an effort to adequately meet the needs of our partnering schools and provide data to the Oklahoma State Department of Health we have developed a new process. IAK now requires Tulsa County elementary schools interested in partnering with us to complete an IAK Assessment along with having a district Memorandum of Understanding (MOU). The assessment allows us to gain an understanding of your school's climate and tailor our services accordingly. The IAK Assessment for the 2017-2018 school year will be accepted from April 24, 2017 - September 1, 2017. Assessments received after the September 1, 2017 deadline will not be accepted.
Schools that were not able to complete the IAK Assessment for the 2017-2018 school year will not receive direct services. Direct services include: Health Education, Physical Education & Physical Activity, Nutrition Environment & Services, and Health Services. IAK will provide Professional Development and allow school staff to participate in IAK's Classroom and PE Challenges. Mark your calendars, the IAK Assessment for the 2018-2019 school year will be available on April 1, 2018! If you have any further questions please contact Charley Daniel at 918-595-4084.
